Paul Stapleton is an internationally respected business management and marketing adviser and trainer. He was a founding director of Staden Associates, a firm of Strategic Planners, and more recently, PathFINDER Pty Ltd, a highly specialised operation providing coaching and mentoring to the owners and directors of a diverse but select group of organisations.
His diversified career started in Retail Sales during which time he gained a Diploma in Television & Radio Production and Promotion. This led him into roles of Marketing Manager and later Company Manager with two prominent Queensland-based companies.
He later entered the field of Banking & Finance, quickly moving into Management roles, both in Australia and overseas. During this time his main forte was in business development and optimising high-risk capital funding.
For several years he conducted initial feasibilities for the World Bank on a broad range of business projects, many of which had either never been tried before, or tried and failed. When it was decided that a project should go-ahead, Paul was given the task of coordinating the set-up and early operations, as well as the training of management.
He is an internationally trained trainer and whilst overseas wrote and facilitated Management programs, as well as Advanced Lending and Project Appraisal & Feasibility, for such bodies as the Bankers Institute, Administrative College and Institute of Management.
In the late ‘90s Paul had his own weekly radio program called “Talking Business”. The program could be heard weekly throughout the South-East, from Brisbane to Northern N.S.W.
He has undertaken projects for such organisations as Telstra, Metway Bank, Westpac Banking Corporation, Commonwealth Bank, and the Registered & Licensed Clubs Association of Qld (Clubs Queensland), along with many individual licensed clubs. There have also been a number of high-profile companies such as; Optus World, Data#3, Richard Ellis, Nextra Australia, Snap Printing, and Tint a Car.
Paul has conducted consultancies on behalf of government departments such as AusIndustry, Dept of Tourism Small Business & Industry and the Queensland Government’s Office of Sport & Recreation, as well as a number of Local Government Authorities.
Paul holds preferred consultant’s accreditation with both Commonwealth and State Governments for:

- Market Planning
Paul has held the positions of President of the P&F of a major private school, Vice President of the Brisbane North Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of Business Owner/Operators Support Team Inc (BOOST) and President of Brisbane North Development Forum. Paul has recently been appointed as President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) newly formed Moreton Bay Branch.
